The laboratories of our chair are not only used for research-related teaching for our students and interns. They are also used for practical research in order to develop and test new procedures and specifications in various fields of research.

Labs of the Chair
The laboratories are well equipped and offer interns and students a comprehensive insight into our field of work and the future field of activity for the next traffic engineers at our faculty.
In our labs, we develop and validate software solutions that are used in ITS. The VAMOS Lab works with online traffic data from the city of Dresden in real time and integrates real-time data from the surrounding highways in Saxony. A heterogeneous fleet of true-to-scale robot vehicles forms the basis for researching real traffic scenarios.
We collaborate with other laboratories to work on overarching topics.
