Daniel Vrankar at the AMJ Paper Development Workshop
On January 29 2024, Daniel Vrankar had the opportunity to discuss the paper "Rocket Science and Innovation Spillovers—Does Space Research Benefit the Economy and Society?" with the Deputy Editor of the Academy of Management Journal, Georg von Krogh, and other international scholars. Almost 40 of the 120 papers submitted were discussed with the AMJ editors Prof Marc Gruber, Prof Davide Ravasi, Prof Georg von Krogh, Prof Denis Grégoire and Prof Christian Tröster, at the Academy of Management Journal Paper Development Workshop at TU Darmstadt.
The paper "Rocket Science and Innovation Spillovers—Does Space Research Benefit the Economy and Society?" investigates the innovation and spillover potential of new space companies and established aerospace conglomerates. In addition, Vrankar and his co-authors, Prof Sebastian Fehrler and Prof Lars Hornuf, examine which industries and countries benefit the most from the space industry.
The working paper is available on request by Mail from Daniel Vrankar. Daniel Vrankar would like to thank all participants of the workshop, especially Prof Georg von Krogh for his valuable feedback.
