Global Data Law III Conference in Munich
Sina Häusler, in collaboration with Lars Hornuf, presented on the 7th of December an empirical study at the Global Data Law III Conference in Munich. The study compares the registration practices of online workers in German and American labor platforms, highlighting disparities in their adherence to the General Data Protection Regulation. The research underscores the cross-border implications of Article 3 of the GDPR and reveals the lack of standardization in implementing the right to access within the private sector. This article, published as open access by the Max-Planck-Institut in the Springer Verlag, offers valuable insights into the global landscape of data protection.
