Guest Lecture by Susan Spinner, CFA — CEO of CFA Society Germany
We are pleased to announce the guest lecture by Susan Spinner, CFA, which will take place on November 4, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. (Berlin time), organized by the Chair of Business Administration, esp. Finance and Financial Technology.
Susan Spinner, CFA, has headed CFA Society Germany as Chief Executive Officer since 2011. The Society is the largest professional association for financial analysts, investment managers, and institutional investors in Germany. With more than 25 years of professional experience in the investment industry, she has held leading positions at Commerz International Capital Management, the Hamburgische Landesbank, and Dresdner Bank in Germany, as well as at the Bank of Montreal in Chicago. She also serves as adjunct faculty member at the Goethe Business School of the University of Frankfurt, where she teaches “Ethics in Finance.”
In her lecture, Ms. Spinner will introduce the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, explaining its structure, global recognition, and professional value for finance students and practitioners. The session will also provide insights into the activities of CFA Society Germany and the career opportunities associated with the CFA program.
