Senior Fellow Dmitry Payson interviewed by the MDR

In April, Senior Fellow Dmitry Payson met with Daria Boll-Palievskaya from MDR's online edition. They discussed the history and current challenges of the Russian space program, which was once a global leader but now faces various difficulties, including technical issues and complex political factors.

Until recently, Russian-European space cooperation stood as a prime example of mutually beneficial international collaboration focused on fundamental scientific research and technology exchange. Unfortunately, persistent political disruptions have repeatedly obstructed the progress of even the most promising initiatives.
