Procedure

• Application via form to the bachelor seminar
  Choose topic from list of topics, state preferences.
  Qualification: "Grundlagen des Finanzmanagements" must be passed.

• Working on the bachelor seminar
  Duration: 3 months
  Scope: 20 pages
  
  The result of the bachelor seminar is a seminar paper including the following components:
  • State of the art in a certain field of research and overview of previously published work concerning the intended bachelor thesis with summary of respective results (literature review).
  • Identification of the problem or motivation (needs to be agreed upon with supervisor, is depending on the choosen topic)
  • Choice of one or more problems in the field of research the intended bachelor thesis is concerned with. Motivate your choice.
    Possible outline of the bachelor thesis with proportional scope for each section.
    
    The results of the bachelor seminar will be presented in a colloquium.

  Duration: 20 min (presentation)
• Grading and decision about acceptance for the bachelor thesis
• Bachelor thesis
  Duration: 4 months
  Scope:
  • approx. 30 pages (if basing on a bachelor seminar)
  • 30-45 pages (without bachelor seminar at the chair)
