From September 17-19, 2025, Dr. Abu El-Ella and Johannes Paul from excite|FUTURELAB presented their current research projects at the G-Forum of the FGF Research Network (Entrepreneurship, Innovation and SMEs e.V.) in Stuttgart. The core research areas were patent incubation in the deep tech ecosystem, which was at the center of the scientific discussions.
A highlight of the conference was the presentation of joint research projects with Prof. Schefczyk's Chair of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at TU Dresden (represented by Nicholas Bost). In the cooperation between Prof. Schefczyk's Chair and the excite|FUTURELAB, two innovative research approaches for the evaluation of patent incubation processes were presented, a promising step towards the integration of patent strategies into entrepreneurship education.
