Guest at Times Higher Education (THE) Europe Universities Summit 2025 in Budapest

Dr. Nagwan Abu El-Ella, Head of the excite|FUTURELAB unit at TUD|excite, was at the Times Higher Education Europe Universities Summit in Budapest from 6 to 8 May 2025. Dr. Nagwan Abu El-Ella took part in the special panel discussion "Scaling excellence in research and innovation at home and abroad" alongside the chairman Laszlo Gulacsi and the other speakers from the academic field Annya Requile-Romanczuk (IMT Atlantique), Prof. Péter Ferdinandy (Semmelweis University), MD, PhD, MBA Špela Stres (University of Ljublijana) and Josep M Vilalta Verdú (Catalan Association of Public Universities ACUP). They discussed the crucial role of internationalization strategies, national and cross-border partnerships and alliances, and Excellence Initiatives that universities should implement.
