Review of this year's R-Seminar for Ph.D. students
Our former colleague Dr. Christian Ullerich held the R seminar for Ph.D. students on August 21 and 22. Besides other participants, three Ph.D. students of our chair could get to know many exciting and valuable functionalities of the programming language. The two-day course started with the basics of data types, functions, and import and export. The second part covered advanced building blocks like parallelization, graphics, and optimization. Now all participants have one month to apply what they learned to their own problems and send their results to Dr. Ullerich. Many thanks for the great workshop!
