Presentations of our chair at recent conferences
Pareto solutions using multi-objective genetic algorithm (MOGA) and epsilon-constraint method to minimize makespan (Cmax) and environmental impact (EI) in the dismantling process of end-of-life automotive engines in the work of Franz Ehm
Even during the semester break, the work of the chair did not rest! Among other things, we were active at various scientific conferences with presentations on current research work.
At the 22nd International Working Seminar on Production Economics, which took place as a virtual conference from February 21st to 25th, 2022, Franz Ehm presented his current results in a talk entitled Scheduling and process planning for the dismantling store with flexible disassembly mode and recovery level and was able to participate in a valuable exchange with other scientists. In addition, our external PhD student Steffen Rudert was able to present on the topic of Dynamic lot-sizing with imperfect production and rework of defectives.
Janis Neufeld participated at the digital conference for the 100th anniversary of the Association for University Teachers of Business Administration (VHB) from March, 8th to 11th, 2022. He was involved in the scientific program with a presentation on the topic of Efficient crew scheduling for conductors in regional rail passenger transport under consideration of attendance rates.
