2nd OR workshop on 14 December 2017
On 14 December 2017 the second doctoral workshop in the field of Operations Research took place at TU Dresden. PhD candidates and teachers from three german universities had the opportunity to present and discuss their research. Thank you very much Prof. Dr. Jörn Schönberger and his team for the warm venue and perfect organization of the workshop. The primary focus on this years talks was on the application of OR in the context of transportation and railway planning problems:

- Stephan Hocke: „A Genetic Algorithm for the Vehicle Routing Problem with time window and temporal synchronization constraints“ (Professur für Verkehrsbetriebslehre und Logistik, TU Dresden, Prof. Dr. Jörn Schönberger)
- Florian Hauck: „Datengetriebene Fahrplanoptimierung im Bahnverkehr“ (Professur für Wirtschaftsinformatik, FU Berlin, Prof. Dr. Natalia Kliewer)
- Franz Ehm: „Prozessplanerstellung für die Maschinenbelegung in der auftragsorientierten Demontage“(Lehrstuhl für Industrielles Management, TU Dresden, Prof. Dr. Udo Buscher)
