Our Chair cooperates worlwide with strong partners

In numerous research projects we cooperate closely with different national and international partners in science and practice. This is guided by the objective to publish our research work in internationally recognized journals. Besides, the transfer of our research into practice is of high importance to us. Therefore, we cooperate with companies of different branches (mechanical engineering, automotive and rail traffic) trustfully together.

The Chair's cooperations

In practice, many tasks are characterized through high complexity. Yet, the amount of operative tasks make it often difficult for the companies to deal intensively with these problems. In various research and development projects we support companies in solving different planning problems in the fields of production, logistics, supply chain management and mobility. Hereby, mathematical optimization methods and various heuristic approaches play an important role. The scope of cooperation ranges from projects in the course of master and diploma theses to large projects including software development, that are performed together with LINOPRO, our partner in software industry.
