PURCHASING MANAGERS INDEX

On behalf of the news agency Reuters the Federal Association of Materials Management (BME), Purchasing and Logistics eV and NTC Research create monthly the purchasing managers index for the assessment of economic developments in Germany. The survey is conducted among approximately 500 senior managers in the purchasing department of manufacturing industry in Germany. LOGISTICS INDICATOR

The logistics indicator is on behalf of the German Logistics Association (BVL) quarterly calculated to measure the development of the economic sector logistics by the Institute for World Economics (Kiel Institute). This is the reason why experts from 200 German companies consisting of logistics service providers (50%) and industrial and commercial enterprises (50%) are interviewed.
