Our teaching in the winter semester

Our courses in the winter semester 2025/26!

In the coming winter semester, we will once again be offering exciting courses at the Chair of Management Accounting & Control: The lectures "Cost Accounting" and "Cost-Oriented Decisions", supplemented by a variety of seminars, are aimed at students in Bachelor's, Master's and Diploma programs.

Brief overview:

• Cost Accounting (Bachelor) - A foundation for understanding and applying cost and performance accounting in companies.

• Cost-oriented decisions (Bachelor) - Building on the first course, you will learn how to base business decisions on internal cost information - for example by means of variance analyses or transfer prices.

• Seminars for Bachelor students - Case-oriented practice: In "Cases in Management Accounting" you will sharpen your skills through real case studies; in the Bachelor seminar you will prepare methodically for your final thesis.

• Research seminar for Master's students - In the "Research Seminar: Current Questions in Executive Compensation", Master's students address current research questions on executive compensation - an ideal introduction to academic work and possible preparation for the Master's thesis.
