Participation of the Chair of Organization and Management in the 22nd EAWOP Congress
Titled “Transforming working environments: Challenges & opportunities,” the 22nd Congress of the European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology (EAWOP) took place from May 21st to May 24th, 2025, in Prague, Czech Republic. The Chair of Organization and Management was represented with contributions from Dr. Ann Sophie Lauterbach and Prof. Dr. Stefan Razinskas.
As part of the symposium “Workspace reimagined: Optimizing design for health and performance in hybrid settings,” jointly organized with Stephanie Neidlinger (Helmut Schmidt Universität, Hamburg), Dr. Maria Gaudiino (Hanken School of Economics, Helsinki, Finland), and Randi Hovden Borge (National Institute of Occupational Health, Oslo, Norway), Dr. Lauterbach presented the study “A bayesian meta-analysis of activity-based offices on well-being, relationships, and performance.” This meta-analysis examines how activity-based flexible offices affect employee well-being, social relationships, and performance.
In addition, the study of Prof. Dr. Razinskas titled “Daily psychological safety as a resource for well-being: A dynamic study in multi-team contexts,” co-authored by Prof. Dr. Julia Backmann (Universität Münster), Prof. Dr. Silja Hartmann (Technische Universität Berlin), and Prof. Mark Mortensen, Ph.D. (INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France), was included in the program. This study explores how daily work in multiple teams influences team members’ well-being and examines the extent to which psychological safety can serve as a resource in such dynamic contexts.
