PhD Courses

The Faculty of Business and Economics and ifo Dresden are members of the
Central-German Doctoral Program Economics (CGDE).

CGDE provides a regional doctoral program in Economics and is a joint initiative of the following economics faculties and research institutes in Saxony-Anhalt, Saxony and Thuringia:

Faculty of Law, Economics and Business (Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg)
Halle Institute for Economic Research – Member of the Leibniz Association (IWH)

Faculty of Economics and Management Science (Leipzig University)
Faculty of Economics and Management (Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg)

The course program consits of (1) First-Year Courses, (2) Special Courses, (3) Personal Qualification Workshops, and (4) Doctoral Workshops.
