Productivity crisis, public finances and the financing of social security
Prof. Dr. Martin Werding is Professor of Social Policy and Public Finance at Ruhr University Bochum and a member of the German Council of Economic Experts. In his lecture, he will outline the general economic development and specifically address the consequences for the welfare state. In the subsequent discussion, Professor Werding will be available to answer questions from the audience. The event, which is being held in cooperation with the ifo Institute Dresden branch, will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Christian Leßmann, Chair of Economics, in particular International Economic Relations at TU Dresden and research professor at the ifo Institute.
