Clover Optimization was awarded the Digital Innovation Founder’s Prize by BMWK
We are delighted that Clover Optimization, a spin-off from the Chair of Business Administration, in particular Industrial Management, has been awarded the Digital Innovation Start-up Prize by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK ). Maurice Morabel accepted the prize on behalf of the entire team at the award ceremony under the patronage of Economics Minister Robert Habeck.
Funded by the 75th EXIST start-up grant, Clover Optimization is developing a planning tool for integrated route and vehicle load planning. This tool hits the mark, as the transport sector in Germany is booming: in 2021, almost 3 billion tons of goods were transported by road alone. To ensure that these goods can be delivered quickly and in a resource-efficient manner, logistics companies are increasingly relying on software solutions for optimized planning. This is where the founding team of Clover Optimization wants to start and is now making this process even more effective by combining two challenging planning steps. In addition, this innovative concept not only improves efficiency, but also contributes to sustainability in the transport sector.
This is a valuable recognition of Clover Optimization's performance and innovative strength to date. It reinforces the vision of making the logistics sector more efficient and sustainable through intelligent software solutions. The award was presented at the Digital Summit 2024 in Frankfurt/Main on October 21/22, 2024.
