Annual Meeting of the Research Group Digital Health Research 2024
On May 29, 2024, this year's annual meeting of our Research Group Digital Health took place in the festive setting of the TU Dresden's Festsaal. As expected, it was a day full of interesting insights and lively discussions.
Diana Meskendahl from the Association of Digital Healthcare Providers opened the event with a comprehensive presentation of the core elements of DiGA 2.0. Her remarks included the introduction of DiGA on e-prescription, a shortened prescription duration, and the integration of the electronic patient record (ePA) into the DiGA scenario. Following her presentation, we showcased our latest research and development projects. Dr. Peggy Richter reported on the European initiative Crane4Health and explained how patient-centered care pathways can be integrated, supported by the German Cancer Society (DKG). Dr. Maria Neubauer highlighted the progress of digitization in public health services (ÖGD). Marcel Susky demonstrated how data-centric use cases in personalized oncological care help reduce media discontinuity and generate valuable research data. The program concluded with Dr. Jeannette Stark's presentation on the contextualization of habits.
Approximately 65 people from various scientific and practical fields attended, including colleagues from TU Dresden, hospitals, outpatient care centers, technology manufacturers, health insurance companies, and other research institutions.
