Videorecording for the discussion event on June 18: Presentation of the OECD Economic Report Germany 2025
On June 18, 2025, we hosted Dr. Robert Grundke at the Faculty, who presented the recently published OECD economic report for Germany and discussed it with the interested audience and the moderator of the event, Prof. Dr. Alexander Kemnitz. In its report, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) analyzes Germany's current economic prospects and structural challenges and derives recommendations for action. In his presentation, Robert Grundke took a closer look at selected topics from the report, including the revival of corporate dynamism and productivity growth, the elimination of the shortage of skilled workers and the promotion of regional development.
Robert Grundke is a Senior Economist in the Economics Department of the OECD and heads the country units for Germany and Latvia. He is an alumnus of the faculty and studied at TU Dresden until 2009, after which he worked as a Research Associate at LMU Munich, where he successfully completed his doctorate in 2015. Robert Grundke has been working at the OECD since 2020.
