Logistics meets energy: TUD-KIT winter seminar in Kleinwalsertal!
The Chair of Business Administration, esp. Logistics, the Chair of Business Administration, esp. Energy Economics and the IIP - Institute for Industrial Production (KIT) came together this winter for a cross-university seminar in the picturesque Kleinwalsertal valley. In the midst of snow-covered mountains, the focus was not only on professional exchange, but also on new perspectives on global challenges.
The central topics of the seminar included:
- Hydrogen: the energy source of tomorrow.
- Circular economy: Strategies for a sustainable future.
- Resilience of supply chains: Resilience in turbulent times.
- AI and Technologies 4.0: Innovations in production and logistics.
The crowning finale was provided by practice-oriented case studies in which students jointly developed concepts for real challenges.
Of course, there was also plenty of opportunity for personal exchange. During the day, sporting activities promoted team spirit, while exciting discussions and networking rounded off the day in the evening.
A big thank you to everyone involved for these inspiring days full of knowledge, teamwork and a change of perspective!
We are looking forward to continuing this cooperation and deepening the impulses of the seminar in the future.
