manager magazin: TU Dresden among the best universities for auditing

According to the manager magazin, TU Dresden is one of Germany's best universities for auditing. This is the result of a nationwide survey in which 89 auditing firms and 1.243 of their clients participated. Accordingly, TU Dresden is placed among the top 20 universities and occupies second place among the TU9.

"We are very pleased with the excellent result. It shows that TU Dresden also stands for excellence in disciplines that are not directly associated with the technical subjects," explains Professor Michael Dobler, holder of the Chair of Business Administration, esp. Auditing and Taxation at the Faculty of Business and Economics.  "Our application-oriented research and profound teaching is appreciated in practice, both by the audit firms and by their clients. This shows that we provide our students excellent opportunities for career entry in audit-related fields."

The ranking was compiled by manager magazin together with the Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Management und Beratung (WGMB) as part of the study "Germany's Best Auditors 2022/23". The detailed results can be found here.
