v.l.n.r.: Ataberk Atan, Daniel Altenburger, Elias Ebbestahl, Prof. Dr. Marcel Thum
In April 2026, we had the pleasure of hosting Elias Ebbestahl for a research internship 💡. Collaborating with Michael Berlemann from HWWI and Marcel Thum, Elias contributed to the development of an exciting research project exploring the regional impact of nuclear waste facilities.
Elias brings an impressive academic background, having completed his Bachelor’s in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at King’s College London in 2025. He is now pursuing an MSc in Economics at the University of Warwick, further honing his expertise in the field.
We are thrilled about the progress made during this collaboration and look forward to continuing this inspiring partnership. Best of luck with your studies, Elias – we’re excited to see what the future holds for you!
