Call for Papers: Bright Minds, Dark Shadows - Executive Personality and the Role of Management Accounting

Philipp Richter (Chair of Business Administration, esp. Management Accounting and Control) together with Aline Grahn (Freie Universität Berlin) will publish a special issue of the Journal of Accounting & Organizational Change on the topic "Bright Minds, Dark Shadows: Executive Personality and the Role of Management Accounting".

This special issue examines how executive personality traits influence the design and use of management accounting and control systems (MACS) - and how these systems in turn shape the behavior and decision-making of executives. Theoretical and empirical contributions are invited that deepen our understanding of how individual characteristics interact with MACS to promote or constrain organizational outcomes.
