Participation in the 14th International Energy Economics Conference at the TU Vienna
The 14th International Conference on Energy Economics (IEWT) took place in Vienna from February 26 to 28, 2025. Organized by TU Wien, the conference featured over 230 presentations from academia, industry, and public administration, providing valuable insights into the key theme: "Organization and Dynamics of Energy Markets and Investments in Infrastructure."
The Chair of Energy Economics was represented by doctoral students Felix Fliegner and Dimitrios Glynos. Felix Fliegner presented findings from a research project with the FfE on supply chain risks related to achieving Europe’s offshore wind energy expansion targets. Dimitrios Glynos shared initial results on the endogenous modeling of FBMC parameters. He also participated in the PhD Day prior to the conference, where he received valuable feedback on his research and helpful suggestions for finalizing a scientific paper on the topic.
Both researchers benefited greatly from the discussions and networking opportunities at the conference and would like to extend their sincere thanks to the organizing team
