We were delighted to welcome Prof. Dr. Martin Werding to the Faculty for a lecture and discussion event on 22 January 2026. Martin Werding is Professor of Social Policy and Public Finance at Ruhr-Universität Bochum and a member of the German Council of Economic Experts. In his lecture, he presented selected parts of the annual report of the German Council of Economic Experts, which was submitted to the Federal Government last November, and answered questions from the audience in a subsequent discussion. The event, organized jointly with the ifo Institute Dresden, was moderated by Prof. Dr. Christian Leßmann.
