The future of urban development: living space across generations

Short description:
Using typical case scenarios, the potential need of age-based adaption of living space was quantified and compared to other care types (e.g. long term nursing). The background are demographic change and the desire of elderly people to independently stay in their own homes as long as possible. Through model calculations costs and benefits of different care types are compared.
