Subsidy for ProDok courses of the VHB e.V.

Key Information
- Doctoral students* in Business Administration, Business Education and Management Training in their first and second years may apply for funding from the faculty to participate in the “VHB ProDok” courses. Starting in 2027, the Association for the Promotion of Business Administration and Economics at TUD e.V.. will provide annual funding of €2,000 for this purpose.
- Fifty percent of the course fees will be reimbursed.
- Applications may be submitted before or after attending the course; for retroactive applications, the 6-month deadline stipulated by the Saxon Travel Expenses Act must be observed.
- Along with the application, a brief justification must be submitted explaining how the course aligns with the applicant’s doctoral research project. Additional decision criteria include the relevance of the course and the (lack of) availability of similar courses at TUD or within the existing doctoral student networks of the Chairs.
*Research Associates or scholarship recipients whose scholarship does not cover travel expenses.

- If not all funds have been allocated by that date, it will still be possible to submit applications during the current year.
