The German Research Foundation’s (DFG) Guidelines for Safeguarding Good Research Practice
The German Research Foundation’s (DFG) Guidelines for Safeguarding Good Research Practice Code of Conduct aims to embed a culture of research integrity in the German academic landscape. 19 guidelines describe appropriate standards for research supplemented by practice-oriented explanations.
TU Dresden Statutes for Ensuring Good Scientific Practice, Avoiding Scientific Misconduct, and Handling Violations
All members and staff of TU Dresden are obliged to follow the Statutes for Ensuring Good Scientific Practice, Avoiding Scientific Misconduct, and Handling Violations, to make them the basis of their research work and to actively contribute to the prevention of academic misconduct.
In its statutes the TU Dresden has stipulated that all scientific staff as well as all doctoral candidates are obliged to attend at least one training course on the topic of Good Scientific Practice (§ 3 (3)).
TU Dresden Guidelines for handling research data
The Guidelines on the handling of research data at TU Dresden specify how to handle research data in general, i.e. extending beyond primary data.
