Datastream/Eikon at the Faculty WiWi

The software Datastream (new name Eikon) available at the faculty allows only one simultaneous login due to changed license terms. In order to ensure better organization of software use, the following terms of use for Datastream at the Faculty of Business and Economics will apply from 12.12.2022:

• Use is via a virtual machine (VM) provided by the IL. Datastream and the Excel plug-in are installed on this virtual machine.
• For the individual period of use, an appointment must be booked in the resource calendar. This is comparable to a booking of PC-Pools.
• Students who need access to Datastream in the context of a scientific work must be explicitly activated by the IL.
• The use of Datastream via an individual installation on PCs or the browser is no longer possible after 12.12.2022.
