New appointments and Farewells

At the end of the summer semester 2023 and in winter semester 2023/24 there will be  two appointments and two farewells. We will provide detailed information on the consequences for teaching as soon as possible.

Dr. Peter Schäfer will be the holder of the Chair of Business Administration, esp. Management Accounting and Control from 01.07.2023. His chair complements the courses offered by the chair of Prof. Dr. Thomas Günther. Welcome at the faculty!

As of 01.10.2023, an additional Chair of Quantitative Methods, esp. Econometrics will be established. We are pleased to announce that appointment of Dr. Kamila Cygan-Rehm who will move from LIfBi (Leibniz-Institut für Bildungsverläufe, Bamberg) to Dresden. 

Prof. Dr. Frank Schirmer, long-time holder of the Chair of Business Administration, esp. Organization, will retire on September 30, 2023.

Prof. Dr. Blagoy Blagoev, holder of the Chair for Business Administration, esp. Organization, will move to the University of St. Gallen. Unfortunately, he will leave the faculty in February 2024, but together with his team he will still offer teaching in winter semester 2023/24.
