Participation in the careers information day at Martin-Andersen-Nexö-Gymnasium
How do you find the right degree program, what career paths can you take after graduation and are career paths actually plannable? At the careers information day at Martin-Andersen-Nexö-Gymnasium in Dresden, pupils in grades 9 to 11 were able to talk to Prof. Dr. Christian Leßmann, Dr. Kirsten Hoffmann, Dr. Sabine Gralka, Dr. Uta Schwarz and many other representatives from the world of work.
We were delighted to be invited to this inspiring format and the opportunity to provide insights into very different career paths. We would especially like to thank Sabine Gralka and Kirsten Hoffmann, who both studied and completed their doctorates at TU Dresden - and now work in very different professions:
- As a product manager at DUALIS GmbH IT Solution , Kirsten Hoffmann is helping to shape the production planning of the future. She is in regular contact with developers, project managers, marketing, sales, management, customers, partners and research institutions in order to further develop the GANTTPLAN production software and identify current market developments at an early stage.
- Sabine Gralka works as an Advisor in the Budget Department of the Saxon Ministry of Finance. Among other things, she is involved in the preparation, implementation and control of the state budget, analyzes the development of income and expenditure and prepares financial forecasts.
We look back on an exciting afternoon, which, in addition to the exchange with the students, also allowed us to meet up with former employees.
