We are happy to consider your own suggestions for topics, as long as they are related to the research focus of the professorship and meet the scientific requirements for a thesis.

Formal requirements
We recommend that you attend the bachelor seminar or research seminar of our chair in preparation for your thesis. There you will be familiarized with the necessary background knowledge for writing your thesis and with the requirements of our chair. You will also have the opportunity to present the proposal for your thesis and receive valuable feedback from the chair team and other students.
If you are interested in writing a thesis at our junior professorship and do not participate in our bachelor or research seminar, please send your convincing application (research proposal in English with 2-4 pages body text incl. personal motivation for the topic, curriculum vitae, current overview of grades) together with the indication of your preferred supervisor to the office management. We strongly encourage students to write their theses in English.
Please note that candidates must also fulfill the formal requirements for a thesis. The requirements as well as the procedure for registration can be found on the website of the examination office of the Faculty of Economic Sciences.
