New Module: Design Science and Design Thinking

We are pleased to offer the new module "Design Science and Design Thinking" starting in WiSe 21/22. The course consists of two parts: 1) Design Science and 2) Design Thinking.

1) The Design Science part deals with the science behind the design of information systems. Primarily, it is about how to accumulate and communicate design knowledge (how should information systems be designed to solve a particular set of problems).

2) Design thinking is a holistic approach to user-centered problem-solving. In this course, students will learn the basic principles of design thinking and experience them practically in the context of a project work.

There are a total of 30 slots for students. Dates and the link to the OPAL entry will follow shortly.
