EUTOPIA Alliance: Research visit of Professors Lindman and Asatiani in Dresden (Gothenburg)
At the end of April, TU Dresden welcomed two visiting researchers from the University of Gothenburg: Professor Juho Lindman and Professor Aleksandre Asatiani. As part of their visit, both scholars gave a research talk under the theme Reimagining Work and Digital Technologies. Professor Asatiani presented on "When Autonomy Goes Too Far: Sociotechnical Envelopment for Responsible AI Agent Control", while Professor Lindman discussed "Municipal Open Data from Sweden"—a topic of particular relevance given the ongoing Open Data project with the City of Dresden.
TU Dresden and the University of Gothenburg are part of the EUTOPIA Alliance, a European alliance of ten partner universities committed to addressing local and global challenges through joint research, innovative teaching, student and staff mobility, and shared initiatives https://eutopia-university.eu/. The alliance aims to contribute to a new model of higher education in Europe.
From 25–29 August 2025, students from our faculty are invited to participate in the EUTOPIA Summer School "Business and Sustainability: Sustainable Cities – Infrastructure Systems and Collaboration" in Gothenburg. The Summer School is a joint initiative by the School of Business, Economics and Law (University of Gothenburg), the Venice School of Management (Ca’ Foscari University of Venice), and the Faculty of Business and Economics (TU Dresden).
