Wiwo ranking: Business information systems at TU Dresden among top 5

Every year, the magazine Wirtschaftswoche (https://www.wiwo.de) ranks the most popular universities and universities of applied sciences from the perspective of HR managers and recruiters. The result of this year's ranking is that the TU Dresden, as a "rare beacon of German higher education in the east of the republic" (Wiwo, 2022), is growing in popularity among recruiters and HR managers. 

For the study of business information systems, the Technische Universität Dresden was indicated as the fourth most popular university. From the business information group's perspective, several factors contribute to this ranking. First, the TU Dresden has switched its business information systems degree program back to a diploma, which is often perceived by recruiters as the more proven degree compared to a master's degree. Secondly, the three business information systems specializations Advanced Data Analytics, Business Processes & Systems and Digital Business Engineering offer sought-after and contemporary specializations. Strong connections to the industry through guest lectures, applied case studies, and practical seminar papers and theses underscore the focus areas and thus offer optimal preparation for later professional life.
