On June 27, 2025, the 11th cooperation meeting between the TUD Dresden University of Technology (TUD) and the Institute for Work and Health of the German Social Accident Insurance (IAG) took place on the premises of the DGUV Academy.
To kick things off, Prof. Dr. Jürgen Wegge (TUD) and Prof. Dr. Stefan Windemuth (IAG) reported on current developments in their respective Institutes. Afterwards, ongoing research projects at the TUD were presented, including a questionnaire development on diversity management in organizations and workshops on the promotion of women in STEM professions.
Prof. Dr. Garthus-Niegel, the new Chair of the Center for Demography and Diversity (CDD), presented the CDD and introduced the strategic reorientation and key results of the recent future workshop.
The IAG presented a number of current research projects, including the role of artificial intelligence as a potential psychological burden, a nationwide company survey on occupational safety, the quality testing of instruments for psychological risk assessment and the scientific examination of maximum daily and weekly working hours.
Finally, the participants were given the opportunity to visit the IAG's "Collaboration" practice area on site.
The cooperation meeting provided a valuable platform for professional exchange and the deepening of cooperation between the two institutions. We would like to thank the IAG for the successful organization and look forward to the 12th cooperation meeting next year at the TUD.
