Title: „What dendritic signals can tell us about retinal function“
Abstract:
"Visual information processing begins already in the retina, an intricate neuronal network relying on more than 100 types of neurons. Our work aims to unravel the function and organization of retinal microcircuits – in health and disease –towards a better understanding of the underlying computational principles, particularly in the context of the natural environment. To this end, we image the light stimulus-driven population activity along the retina’s entire vertical pathway using synthetic and genetically encoded fluorescent sensors."
Everybody is very welcome.
