Dresden University Sports Center

The Dresden University Sports Center (DHSZ) is a joint central facility for university sports of both TU Dresden and HTW Dresden and is assigned to TU Dresden. Other universities from Dresden are connected to the DHSZ through cooperation agreements and use the varied university sports program for their students and staff. The DHSZ employs 11 full-time staff and more than 500 freelancers for the provision of sports and health services.

The team of the Dresden University Sports Center

The 11-member team of the Dresden University Sports Center (DHSZ) plans and coordinates the various sports programs, supervises and coaches the course instructors and participants, and organizes events and activities concerning university sports.

Our Commitment

We strive to enable as many students and staff as possible to balance their studies and work with sport, to get them exercising and to help them stay healthy. With this in mind, we offer courses in more than 50 types of sport and cooperate with TU Dresden's Occupational Health Service as well as regional clubs to expand our spectrum and to ensure the quality of the courses.
