Clean Hydrogen Partnership Call 2022!
Call for proposals: Europe is investing 300.5 million Euros in clean hydrogen technologies!
At the end of February 2022, the Clean Hydrogen Partnership released its Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) for the period 2021 - 2027 and its 2022 work program with initial calls for proposals.
The partnership was established as a „Joint Undertaking“ at the end of 2021. It builds on the predecessor initiative "Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking", which was implemented under the 7th Research Framework Program and Horizon 2020. The Clean Hydrogen Partnership will be guided by the EU Hydrogen Strategy and policy developments in this context, and will support research and innovation activities primarily focused on clean hydrogen production and low-carbon hydrogen distribution, storage and end-use.
A total of 41 topics will be part of the call for proposals, including
- 10 for renewable hydrogen production,
- 11 for hydrogen storage and distribution,
- 8 for transport and
- 4 for heat and power.
- In addition, 5 projects will support cross-cutting issues.
This call will also support 2 hydrogen valleys and 1 strategic research challenge.
