The ERC Starting Grant call 2024 is open
The ERC („European Research Council”) has opened the ERC Starting Grant 2024 call on July 11th, 2023.
The Starting Grants are directed towards:
- talented early-career scientist who have already produced excellent supervised work,
- are ready to work independently and
- show potential to be a research leader.
Researchers of any nationality with two to seven years of experience since their successful PhD defense, a scientific track record showing great promise and an excellent research proposal can apply.
The budget per project is usually a maximum of 1.5 million euros, in exceptional cases up to 2.5 million euros. The projects have a maximum duration of five years.
Submission deadline is October 24th, 2023, 17:00 (Brussels Time).
