First Call in Interreg Europe Programme!
The first call for project proposals of the new Interreg Europe Programme is open from April 5th, 2022 to May 31st,2022 and is addressed to national, regional and local authorities, public law bodies and private non-profit organisations.
The aim of Interreg Europe is the exchange of experience, knowledge and best practice between public authorities and other policy relevant organisations across Europe to improve regional development policies. The programme area covers the entire territory of the European Union with its 27 Member States, as well as Norway and Switzerland.
The first call will support interregional cooperation projects that can be realised in the following thematic areas within the scope of the EU Cohesion Policy:
- smarter Europe
- greener Europe
- more connected Europe
- more social Europe
- Europe closer to citizens
Eligible project activities will be co-financed at a rate of 70 - 80 % depending on the legal form of the project partner.
