The new Eurostars program has started. R&D and innovation project applications can be submitted until 4^th November 2021 at 14:00 CET. Eurostars aims at supporting European cooperation between small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in R&D projects. The funded joint projects are open-topic and for civil purposes. They aim to develop an innovative product, process or service.

Hard Facts:

• two Countries minimum
• coordinator has to be SME
• participation of German Universities (for 120 % funding) when German SME is participating
• SMEs have to cover 50 % of the overall project costs
• Maximum of German funding of 500 k€ for max. 3 years
• close to market, approximate enter to market 2 years after end of project
• German funding via Projektträger DLR
• probably 2 cut-off dates per year (spring and fall)
