With the TUD|excite Innovation Hub, which was founded on June 24, 2024, TUD|excite is pursuing the goal of increasing the visibility of transfer-relevant offers and activities - and thus sustainably strengthening the innovation ecosystem and the entire innovation chain.

On the day of the grand opening of the TUD|excite Space, May 16, 2025, another important partner, TechnologieZentrumDresden GmbH, Standort Süd, was added to the TUD|excite Innovation Hub. The strategic cooperation agreement was signed by Prof. Andreas Pinkwart, Director of the TUD|Excellence Center for Innovation, Transfer and Entrepreneurship (TUD|excite), Dr. Torsten Fahrig, Managing Director of TechnologieZentrumDresden GmbH (TZD) and Jan Gerken, Chancellor of TU Dresden.

This cooperation is a logical step towards further strengthening the ecosystem for founders at TU Dresden by utilizing existing resources and expertise. At the same time, it will increase the visibility of offers for inventors, innovators and founders and facilitate access to them. Special thanks therefore go to the TZD, which makes an important contribution to strengthening the innovation ecosystem with its wide range of rooms, including conference and consulting rooms, workshops, clean rooms and S1 and S2 laboratories.
