Includes the consideration of determinants for the strategic decision between publishing, patenting, or neither as a start and building a unique competitive edge for a business. In addition, patent and startup research includes the study of how patents influence venture capital (VC) financing decisions for startups. Additionally, our research also delves into the dynamics of VC deals, spin-offs and their multiplier effects on market growth.
Our research field Entrepreneurship Education includes the facilitation and support of entrepreneurial thinking in the university context as well as the analysis of factors influencing entrepreneurial activity at universities. It also contains the observation of the development of entrepreneurial skills and capabilities from education till the start-up phase of entrepreneurs.
