EUTOPIA Science Fair 2022 | at University of Ljubljana

EUTOPIA European University is a connected, integrative alliance of universities which pursue the same goals. The EUTOPIA Science Fairs are one of the ways to display the variety and the quality of the research within the alliance.

For the Science Fair 2022, 10 researchers coming from the 10 EUTOPIA universities will meet in Ljubljana for the EUTOPIA Week (21-25 November 2022) and pitch in 10-minutes their work in front of the public in two “Science Slam” sessions organised by Znanost na cesti (Science on the streets), who will previously train the 10 candidates to the format of the Science slam event. The preparation lasts 3 weeks, with several hours of training each week (no more than 12).

WHO?

The Science Fair intends to show the projects developed by early career researchers
pursuing PhD or post-doctoral research, from member universities of the EUTOPIA Alliance.

WHEN?

• Deadline for receiving the materials: October 20^th, 2022
• Exhibition: 21-25 November 2022

HOW & WHAT?

Step 1: By October 20^th, 2022  submit:

• a poster (A1 portrait format, pdf) that explains your project visually
• an abstract (350-400 words)
• a short video of three minutes max (mp4, 16:9 format, quality: 1080 p)

Step 2: Get selected to participate in the virtual science fair.

Step 3: Get invited to present a research project in Ljubljana at a Science Slam that will be organised by Science on the Streets, a Ljubljana-based NGO.

WHY?
