Joint Postdoc Survey 2022 at TUD and HZDR

A great number of Postdocs are highly committed to research, teaching, and their careers.

In March/April 2022, over 1,300 postdocs at TU Dresden and the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) were invited to take part in an online survey on behalf of the joint HZDR-TUD Postdoc Centre. The aim of the survey was to gain a better understanding of:

• What conditions do postdocs work under and how satisfied are they with them?
• What career goals do they pursue?
• And what support do postdocs want?

The results of the survey were used to adapt existing training and support programmes in a targeted manner and to develop new programmes.
