GA Supervisor Award 2018
This year, the Graduate Academy granted its Award for Excellence in Doctoral Supervision for the second time.
A total of 44 nominations were received from TUD doctoral candidates and postdocs. Numerous supervisors were nominated multiple times.
Such commitment now not only receives academic appreciation but also financial recognition. The winner for excellent Ph.D. supervision is awarded 5,000 euro.

Winners of the prize are
- Jun.-Prof. Dr. Stephanie Duchek | Junior Professorship in Strategic Management
- Prof. Dr. Susanne Strahringer |Chair of Business Informatics
Their way of encouraging and challenging young researchers is exemplary. For this reason, the executive committee of the Graduate Academy decided to split the prize between the two winners.
The prize for excellent doctoral supervision will be awarded by the Rector Prof. Hans Müller-Steinhagen and the Vice-Rector for Research and Director of the Graduate Academy Prof. Gerhard Rödel.
