In this course, the following relevant research data management services that are available at TUD will be introduced. OpARA is offered for data archival and publication for time frames of 10 years and beyond. Group drives enable storing large data sets, sharing them, and having them automatically in backup. The Cloudstore service enables easy sharing of files and smaller data sets as a local competitor to Dropbox. MASi enables to build community specific data management solutions that enable search via automatic metadata. Sharepoint as a feature rich web environment enabling for example joint editing of Microsoft Office files and customized project management solutions. Participants are asked to bring along their laptops. |
