Ertl-Schmuck, Roswitha et al (2014): Scientific work in health and care. Constance, Munich: UVK Verlagsgesellschaft with UVK/Lucius
This book combines techniques, rules and tips for scientific work with the associated scientific theoretical foundations. The intentions of this book are to
- to stimulate a critical understanding of science and to reflect on scientific texts according to their underlying scientific theoretical positions as well as to evaluate their relevance for one's own research work,
- to facilitate the introduction to scientific thinking and writing at the beginning of the course,
- to introduce students to basic techniques of scientific work,
- to provide assistance in the preparation of written work (e.g. term papers, Bachelor's and Master's theses, state examination theses) and
- to stimulate research-based learning.
The book is to be used by students in the Department of Health and Nursing when writing academic papers.
